Kathy Griffin

Hehe one more post before I go to bed.  Yes I do blog a lot in 1 day don't I?

We just watched 2 back to back stand up shows of Kathy Griffins on Bravo channel.  She is so freakin funny.  I just love her.  I've seen those 2 shows at least 5 times each and every time I see it I laugh my butt off.  How can you not laugh?  I love her because she has the balls to say what everyone is thinking but is too afraid to say it.  And it's all in fun.

If you are so stuck up that you can't laugh when someone makes fun of you then maybe you need to be made fun of lol.  I know if I was an actor I'd be upset if she wasn't making fun of me in her act because then I'd know I'm not famous yet.  I'd probably send her flowers and invite her to dinner begging to be made fun of lol.

New Season of Shows

Finally summer is nearly over and my shows can come back.  This season I have shows 6 days a week again.  Mostly I have 1 show a night but some nights there are 2 shows.

Sunday:  I only have 1 show and that's True Blood on HBO.  If for some reason I miss it I don't have to worry because of HBO On Demand.

Monday:  Heroes and Chuck are coming back for season 2.  I also watch Medium on CBS but that show starts in January 2009.

Tuesday:  As of right now I have nothing on for Tuesdays but Reaper is supposed to be coming back in January 2009.

Wednesday:  I have 2 shows on at the same time on different networks.  Knight Rider which will be on NBC and Pushing Daisies which is on ABC.  I watched the first season of Pushing Daisies so I'm gonna have to choose that over Knight Rider but thank goodness there is such a thing as On Demand because I will be able to watch Knight Rider on the NBC website whenever I want to.

Thursday:  Smallville & Supernatural.  Those 2 shows I've watched since they began so naturally I'm going to watch these.  I read this will be the last season for Smallville.  It was supposed to be Clark Kent's childhood (or teenage years) and he's way past 21 so it looks like it's nearly time for Superman to emerge on the scene which will mean the end of Smallville.

Friday:  Ghost Whisperer.

Ok, so I was wrong when I said 6 days of shows, well, half wrong because Reaper is coming back in January so only half of the season will be 5 days a week.  That is unless there's another strike preventing me from watching shows then they get canceled lol.  I don't think it will happen again for another 10 or 20 years since the last strike was 20 years ago.

HomeTown Buffet

We love going to HomeTown Buffet and since it's almost Chips birthday (September 23rd) I want to take him there for dinner.  I just signed up for their e-club so we both can get coupons for free meals lol.  When it's your birthday they send you a coupon for a free meal so we're going to take advantage of that.  Since I can't afford to buy him a gift I'm giving him the gift of free food lol.  I'm not cheap, I just don't have the money.  Besides I gave him an early birthday present already.  I wanted to save it for his birthday but I was too excited to give it to him lol.

Holiday Creamers

I just love the holidays, especially the coffee creamers meant to go with the holidays.  I just came back from Albertson's with Pumpkin Pie Spice coffee creamer's from International Delight.  My favourite creamer is Egg Nog so I can't wait for Thanksgiving, that's when they start selling that flavor as well as actual Egg Nog or Silk Nog which I have to buy because I'm lactose intolerant.

The Family That Preys

We went to the movies today and saw The Family That Preys.  They said it was a comedy but I didn't find it to be funny.  I thought of it more as a drama with some humor inside it.  To me a comedy is a movie that you are laughing while watching, I wasn't laughing at all during this movie.  It was a good  movie though.  I wouldn't say it was so good that I'd see it again but it was good.

Before we went to see it we were on a mission to get new brakes for my bike.  First we went to Sports Authority and they didn't have it.  They had 1 pair of brakes but it wasn't the right ones.  I also wanted a new pump with a gauge but they only had 2 kinds but they were huge, the kind you keep at home.  I wanted one small enough that it straps to my bike frame but they don't have that there.  So after the movie we came home, Chip wrote an email then we went to Snider's Cyclry and they had the exact brakes I needed and they were only $5 (they came in a package of 2 for $2.50 so 2 packages was $5) so the price was right.
