Jay Leno Show

The new Jay Leno was on tonight at 10pm on NBC.  I liked it better when it was called The Tonight Show.  It's the same thing but he doesn't have a desk anymore. Oh well, it was still good.

His first guest was Jerry Seinfeld who brought Oprah on via satellite lol which was kind of odd because Jay Leno wasn't able to talk to her at all, only Jerry.  But you know, it was a skit.  At least he can say that his first 2 guests were Jerry Seinfeld and Oprah, well sort of lol.

Kanye West was on with Jay-z and Rihanna and before they performed Kanye wanted to apologize to the world for what he did.  He seemed very remorseful and just like a little puppy who just peed on my laptop.  He had those sad puppy dog eyes.  He said that he was going to take some time off to reflect on his life and his future.

It sounds like he wants to just crawl into a hole with his tail between his legs until it all blows over and everyone forgets but as soon as he makes his comeback the first thing people are going to mention is what happened last night.  He might as well just take a couple of weeks off and just keep touring and pretending it never happened and eventually people will forgive and forget.  As long as Taylor Swift accepts his apology then people will forgive him.  Just like how the world is in love with Tom Cruise again after he apologized to Brook Shields and had a beer with her in the rose garden.  That was a joke lol.

Pinks Blog - She said on the Today Show this morning that Kanye West is an idiot, a waste and that he is a toolbox.  Here is another statement:

Kanye west is the biggest piece of shit on earth. Quote me," Pink tweeted. "My heart goes out to Taylor Swift. She is a sweet and talented girl and deserved her moment. She should know we love her. Beyonce is a classy lady. I feel for her too. It's not her fault at all, and her and Taylor did their thing. And douche bag got kicked out. HA"

I know there are more but I can't remember who said what but this is what these 2 singers are saying.

I can easily say that I'm not a fan of his so boycotting him isn't really a big deal for me lol.  But one thing that he did was he not only disrespected Taylor Swift but he also upstaged Michael Jackson.  This whole awards show was all a tribute to Michael Jackson and he stole that thunder too.  I shouldn't be blogging and bitching about Kanye West.  I should be talking about Madonna's speech and how her British accent disappeared and what a wonderful job Janet Jackson did.  In fact nobody is talking about that on tv at all.  Nobody is talking about Patrick Swayze who just died either.  It's all about Kanye West.

You know what?  That's what he wants though, he wants to be in the spotlight.  That award wasn't about him but he made it about him and I'm just adding more to what he wanted so this is my last post about him.  I'm done with him now.

Kanye West Apology

I found this "apology" which is a screen shot from the Lalate News website.

He says in there that he GAVE his award to Outkast because they deserved it over him.  LOL are you kidding me?  So is he saying that because he foolishly gave his award away to Outkast that Taylor should give her award away to Beyonce?  Are you f'ing kidding me?  It's her first VMA award, why should she give it away?

And Jane Velez Mitchell was talking on her show about how he was drinking alcohol on the red carpet, you could see him chugging from a bottle of hennesy or something like that.  That's no excuse for bad behavior.  If he was falling down drunk then that's one thing because at that point you are so poisoned from the booze that you can't even think straight but he wasn't.  He was perfectly capable of making that decision to ruin Taylors big moment.

I'm sorry but that is the most pathetic apology I've ever heard (or read) in my life.

Jane Velez Mitchell showed a video of him on stage in Great Britain with these performers and he was saying that if he lost this award it would be the awards show who lost creditability.  WHAT?  How arrogant does a person have to be before you start boycotting him?  No amount of rehab is ever going to make me respect this guy because it's obviously not the alcohol that makes him arrogant, the alcohol is only fuel for his fire that's it.

Update: Ok I'm still searching because I wasn't sure that this was a real screen shot from "Kanye West's" actual blog so I found the link to his apology from MTV's website but the screen shot I have is not what is actually written there.  If you look at his blog (which by the way is very strange, no words just strange pictures) you can see a different apology which is the screen shot that I just took.  I think he might have made the above apology but then deleted it and posted this:



Yes look at the date at the bottom of the apology.  The first one was last night then he deleted it and post this one today.

Patrick Swayze Died

I just found out that Patrick Swayze died at age 57 today.  I'm very sorry that he passed away.  It was not unexpected though, every time I went to the store there were tabloids with these pictures of him at the checkout stand.  It was very sad to see him looking like that in the magazines.

Now he is no longer in any pain from his cancer and he can finally rest in peace.

TiVo vs Moxi part 2

I praised a product called Moxi, a DVR, which costs $800 for the box and has $0 monthly charges unlike TiVo who charges a monthly fee.  Well, I didn't do enough research.  I was trying so hard to see the good in it because hello, no monthly fees for the service.  But I wasn't looking at the TiVo site before I made the comparison as the last commenter said.

Moxi is $800 for the box and if you want extra boxes in your house you can buy Moxi mates for $400 each which if you buy 2 that's $800 more lol.

TiVo on the other hand is only $150 for the TiVo Series 2, $300 for TiVo HD and $600 for the TiVo HD XL.  You can pay $12 a month for either of these to be able to record OR you can pay a flat rate of $399 for the product lifetime service.

I think that this makes up for my previous post Moxi Vs. TiVo don't you agree?  When I posted that I was quick on the draw before doing any research into the TiVo website.  Had I done that you wouldn't have seen my previous post or this retraction.

I don't have an HD tv so the $150 one would work great for me plus it has 80 hours.  And if the machine fails in a few years then that's ok, I'm sure they will have better ones that I can buy.  I'm sure you can transfer your service onto another box, right?
