As of January 1st 2009 it is illegal to text while drive. Ok, who does this? Seriously. I have trouble picking up a drink while driving then trying to find the hole to put it back. I can't even eat an ice cream cone while driving without worrying I'm going to end up in a ditch if ice cream drips and falls on my leg when I'm wearing shorts.
Well, now that you can't text and drive anymore you have much more time to watch tv or play Daxter on your new PSP-3000. Just make sure you look over the PSP every once in awhile to make sure you see the road but of course pause your game first if you think about it.
Now you have time to shave while driving. Putting on your eye liner in the mirror. Don't forget to make sure you have a lot of sloppy food while you eat. That isn't illegal yet.

Obama Stimulus
FOREX-Dollar boosted by Obama stimulus, ECB rate cut view
"U.S. President-elect Barack Obama, seeking as much as $310 billion in tax cuts, is proposing that about 40 percent of the package worth up to $775 billion be in the form of tax breaks."
Barack Obama is looking to give the American people another stimulus package but not the way Bush did in 2008. Instead this will be in the form of a tax break. How does this work exactly? If you are a regular low/middle class citizen working in fast food, grocery, retail, furniture sales etc. and you already have money taken out of your checks every week to pay taxes, how will this work? Especially if every year you get money back from your taxes.
I can remember when I turned 18 I had to start filing my taxes and at tax season my sister took me to H&R Block and they did my taxes with my pay stubs and I usually got a few hundred dollars back. This was in the 80's though. I can remember when I was 23 and went to H&R Block they said I owed $50. I was really looking forward to getting some money because I was broke by that point. I asked why I owed because they took taxes out of EVERY paycheck and they said it had to do with George Bush Sr., whatever he did to taxes in the early 90's. Although, I seem to recall that Clinton was president when this happened in 1994.
Anyway, if someone is on SSI, do they get a check at tax season or do they just have to deal with getting nothing? I guess we will all find out in a few months.
Taking Down Christmas Tree
The other day I took all the Christmas ornaments off the tree but left the tree up because I knew it would be a bitch taking it down and I didn't really want to go through all that just yet. I promised myself yesterday that today I would take it all down and I've gotten the first 3 layers off. Now I just need to get the bottom all together so I can tie it up and remove it from the base then carry it all to it's box in the shed.
Boy oh boy what a job it is too. OMG I'm taking a break because my back is just killing me. Well, I guess I better get back to it.
Edit: And Christmas is DOWN and DONE!

Game Stop e-Rewards
Last year I started going to e-rewards website and did some surveys hoping to gain some money for it but found out that they don't give you cash or well, a check, they give you rewards in the form of gift cards for certain places. A lot of those rewards are for like airline stuff or bed bath and beyond or magazines or something. The one thing that caught my eye was that I could get Game Stop rewards.
If you have $50 in rewards in your account you can get a $25 gift card for Game Stop. Yeah, I know, what about the other $25? I guess I lose it. And you can only get 1 card per quarter. I think it was in late November when I submitted my $50 in e-rewards for the game stop card but I finally got it today so it takes a little over a month to get it. Like 6 weeks I would say.
I don't know what I'm going to buy with it though. I was kinda hoping that the GPS would be available by now because according to the convention from last year in January or February or whenever it was, the GPS add-on for the PSP was supposed to be out by Christmas 2008. I didn't see it.
I'll probably either hold on to the card for awhile until something good comes out or maybe I'll just buy a game. I read that there will be a game that uses the camera attachment and they will be sold together some time this year so maybe I'll wait for that. I can at least take pictures using that on my PSP then email them to people straight from my PSP. I think...
