Reaper Back On

YAY Finally Reaper is coming back to the CW tonight. I thought for sure that it was a goner but then I heard it was coming in 2009. About 2 weeks ago they finally started advertising that it would be here in March and I guess time went by real fast because it's on tonight. YAY!

Xanth Now, Belgariad Later

Today I bought book 2 "Source of Magic" and book 4 "Centaur Aisle".  My friend Alyce who bought and mailed me book 1 "A Spell for Chameleon" also bought book 3 "Castle Roogna" and book 5 "Ogre, Ogre".

Since I've already read the first book I thought I should finish the Xanth series before moving onto the David Eddings books which have 17 books.  Xanth has 32 or so but I can comprehend the Xanth ones a lot better.  So as soon as I get the 2nd Xanth novel I'm going to start reading again.

City Tap Water

Normally I don't drink out of the tap because when you put water in a glass from the tap it's so white it almost looks like milk.  A very watered down milk actually.  So for that very reason I fill a 5 gallon bottle of water and I use one of those little water bottle things with the spout lol I can't think of the name right now.

But last night I went to get some water because I had really bad heart burn and I needed to take a pepcid and we were out of the bottled water so I had to use the tap.  We didn't have anything else to drink.  The tap water tasted so bad, it tasted like metal.  You could actually taste the pipes or maybe the minerals in the water.  Sometimes it tastes like garden hose water which is a really nasty taste but now it's like metal.

Didn't Erin Brokovich work hard to protect the people from this kind of stuff?  We have PG&E but this water is from the city of Bakersfield, not PG&E.  Maybe Erin should come to Bakersfield and help us out.  The water here is so toxic.  You know how they say when you go to Mexico not to drink the water?  Same applies to Bakersfield.  Only drink bottled water or if you are green bring your own 1 gallon container and for 25 cents you can fill it with the Watermill Express.  They are cleaned daily.

I like Watermill Express machines, we have one within walking distance from my house, it's actually a 2 minute walk there.  They have a sign up about how the filter process is and they filter the hell out of the city water.  It gets filtered so many times and it is so good.  And they service it daily.  We went to Sears and we passed it and there was a truck behind it and the Watermill Express employee was servicing it.

Speaking of which, I gotta go fill our water bottle.
